I have two of the WM P-51s and building a thired for a friend . I had a G90 in mine but a bit of an overkill. Two buddies have the dago with 61fx and TT61pro running 11/8apc. Here at 5000ft were getting about 100mph. Also if you don't want to hack up the cowl, consider a 90ish foursstroke.

Dago

Having owned 4 wm mustangs(2 dagos) I have flown them on everything from 46fx,61's ,91 4strokes & Irvine 53 & 72

I have found the best overall engine for weight ratio to power was the Irvine 53.These motors are pure powerhouses and will push it over 100mph.But umm just make sure you slow down before doing snap rolls or tumbles with anything bigger than a 53 2stroke on these birds..Boy do I know all to well - A irvine72 doesnt look too pretty inside out and esp. after hitting the runway at nearly 100 mph

my new WM mustang has a Irvine 53 on it and to be honest is almost just as fast and has lasted from not overstressing the airframe.I tend to be too overly aggressive with my flights sometimes and as a result lost the 1st dago..I think honestly no matter what you do to strengthen/beef them up ,these wont last but for so long with 70-90 size 2strokes on them

thats just my opinion

Steve
