I thought there would have been more writeups of this in this thread from those of you that bought this. Keep them coming...

By the way, another auction just showed up for those of you that missed it last time. There's 9 more now.

I wouldn't mind getting a set but I'm still reeling from xmas...

Would this thing strip the stock gears on an Evader ST? Looks like a sweet deal for a basher like myself to try out brushless.

Hmm... any way to test this liberal "cogging" issue late into the driving session by swapping out fresh batteries? Just to be sure it wasn't a mental thing or the low battery voltage (cut-off?) or some disorder that caused it to cog late into the driving session.

I have yet to receive mine. It should've arrived by Wednesday. Kinda getting worried...

I noticed the new listing as well..this time around they want 5 dollar additional and have a feeling that the next time around it will be higher.

i hope you get yours soon then so i can get your take on it before the price climbs up too high. i wouldn't mind gettting one for my daugters rustler and maybe my dads dynamight. i've kind of been wanting a cheap electric 1/10 tc and this could find its way into one of those too.

Ask them for tracking I got mine.

Yea it was voltage cut-off, I forgot that theres a pretty significant voltage drop and that you don't need cut-off with NIMH at all.
I also fixed the throttle trim.

I turned into a curb and broke an axle lol so sorry for the delay in follow-up.
Ordered 4 axles on ebay for real cheap. Should be here monday or tuesday.
I got my cam, any specific pics ude like?
I need to wait for a nice sunny day and my axle to make a small vid.

No, it wont strip any gears because you can use soft brake, set a rev/neutral/fwd like real car, set initial rpm or in other words make it reach say 50% rpm before you can gun it, you can then set slow, med, and fast start (again control current).

I like that initial rpm thing. I have stronger axles on order as well. I doubt the jato axles can handle anything more then 5s.

Ironically I'm happy it broke. It broke at the weakest part: where the wheel axle holds the pin for the wheel hub thingy. Cheap steal
Now If I got the universal Titanium drive shafts from asiatees, there goes my wheel and everything holding it lol
In real cars there's a pin that breaks instead of your whole steering rack and stuff, same idea though maybe not intended.

Oh ye snellemin, you askem for the tracking number?

I asked many times and no reply through ebay. They don't get ebay messages for some reason.
Take your item number, ebay ID and w.e else and email modellfun.com through here:

contact form

They give u an EMS #####HK code that should be able to be entered into the USPS tracking site when it reaches the U.S
I tried it with the asiatees site for my aluminum parts and that worked.

Good luck.

Went to the post office and got mine today. The programmer comes in a plastic box that was cracked during shipping. The motor looks good, just has open ends and comes with the plugs allready soldered on. The 2 caps that are on the ESC are 35V 220uF, but look like cheap chinese copies. I will replace them with better ones soon. Now the reason why the ESC is so BIG..hehhehehehe, they don't use surface mount fets. So in other words..old school technology, but there is nothing wrong with that either. Easier to fix if you blow a Fet. I'll cut thick heatshrink off later and check out the "brains" of the ESC. The programmer looks good. Has a nice metal casing, with instructions printed on the back. The ESC does come with "Deans" solder on allready on the 12AWG wires. I'll post some more info later, after I hook this up in my Rustler.

If it survives 6s1p today, you'll see it on Sunday. I'll hook it up on the 8s Feigao.
