Status: offline 		Set up cables today. I did not do a double knot on the cable for insert, just a half hitch, cut off, 1/8" lead, loc-tite, screwed it in. Any chance of this pulling out? I am not a 3D, hard this, hard that, flyer. Any suggestions appreciated, and I can make new cables easy.

Status: offline 		You will have to tell us how it works since you decided to experiment. I set mine up using the factory recomendations.

Even single knot is safer to do! I would do the knot just not to worry about it pulling out at all.
