I just wanted to let everyone one know that after many months we have recieved our latest shipment of airplanes. We recieved the 2.5m which was designed with the DA85 in mind, the 2.7m which is perfect for a 80cc to 110cc, and 3.2m Extra 300 ARF's. I will add some pictures after the new year.

We are very excited about the new ARF's, all of them are lighter then before and have the extremely high quality that we have become known for. For more info you can visit our website www.jtecrc.com

thanks,

Kevin

Kevin,

I have a few questions about your product6s that i am interested in.
I see on the website they are advertised as ARF's, but in the descriptions it says wings and tail group come sheeted and ready to cover. No mention of the fuse. Does the fuse have to be built or is framed already? Is the plane an ARF or is it an ARC? Are any of your planes already covered that you offer for sale? And one last, do you offer an Edge 540?

Thanks

Curtis.

Curtis,
I believe the only plane you can actually get right now that is not a covered ARF is the Panzl. Even though they show a pak kit for the other planes they are not available in a pak now. All of the Extras are covered and an ARF.

Curtis,

the only airplane that we offer that is not a fully covered ARF is the PAK version of the 2.7m Panzl. With the PAK version the wings and tails are already sheeted and basically all you do is build the fuselage which takes only a few hours.

As for the edge, not going to happen . We have never really been huge fans of the edge. We imported some for a while but we stopped because we feel there are much better designs out there that can do IMAC and 3D.

Thanks, Kevin

I really like the looks of the planes, I am looking to either go 35% or 40% percent by the end of summer. I will look into you're product more.

Is there any hardware included in the arf's?
Curtis

the airplanes have a basic hardware including all the bolts for mounting the tail, canopy, cowl and stuff like that. All the 300's also include flat style hinges, wing knobs and the aluminum tubes and gear. Each airplane comes with a very complete list of what hardware we recommend also, everything like fuel tanks, wheels, turnbuckles, and more.

Actually we only show the 2.7 Panzl as a PAK. We currently are not doing th PAKS on the Extra's. The PAK's were removed form the website a while ago. I apoligize for any confusion

Thanks

If possible I would like to know the balance point on the new 2.7 mid wing extra? The directions that were with my plane seem to be from an older style plane.

the 300 should balance right on the wing tube. The way we have always balanced them is to assemble the airplane with everything except for the wings and then pick the plane up by the wing tube socket. The plane should sit level or slightly nose forward. Since the 300 has been lightened from the prototype version it may take moving around your batteries to balance it.

That should be a good starting point for the maiden flight. After that you can dial it in how you like it.
