Last year I puchased a 1450 mAH Duralite pluss lithium-ion from you for the ignition on my airplane. I would now like to purchase an rx battery to run six servos at 6 volts. Each servo is rated for about 140 oz at 6 volts. What battery and set up do you recomend and do you have some type of a volt watch system that can be mounted on the out side of the air craft.

Thanks, Chad Erickson

Hi Chad,

Depending on the type and size of your airplane along with the number of flights you would like to get between charges, I would think you are looking at our 2900 mah 2s2p (6 oz) or our 4300 mah 2s2p (7.2 oz) Lithium Ion pack for your RX.

We do have a Digital Dashboard which can be mounted in an area such as the cockpit which can display the voltage of your battery pack. Most pilots simply check the voltage of the batteries between each flight by applying at least a 1 amp load with a load tester to ensure the battery hasn't reached the stop fly 6.9 voltage. A good pack will charge up to around 8.35 - 8.4 volts without a load and with a 1 amp load applied should display and sustain at least 7.5 volts.

We are back in the office tomorrow so feel free to contact us toll free at 877-744-3685.
