I purshased two Evo 2100 4S pack just 2 months ago, and now with only 29 on one, and 31 charges on the other, they not only won't hold amperage, also have dropped to only holding 1400 mills, give ot take 50 millamps. Anyone having simular results with these packs ? Very disappointed in these high price packs.
I've run Thunder Power packs predominitly, with some elcheapO's China lipos, and would have never thought these high quality batterys would fail so fast. I always use the same Astroflight 109, and the TP 205 balancer, with more than a thousand charges on record.
I've contacted EVO, and will let you know what happens.
Thanks for your imput,
Jamie

You are not alone in your experience with EVO packs. We have a club member with similar experience. Testing I have done also shows early deterioration of capacity delivery when compared to other vendors.

FWIW nearly all LiPos are coming out of China where while they have mastered copying technolgy. They sometimes fall short in mastering the production control disciplines required in manufacturing consistant quality cells. Today's might be good, while tomorrows may be marginal at best.

Just for everyones knowlege, Evo (Powerflight) contacted me right away and the batteries are headed back to them with reciepts of purshase. We'll see what happens, but looks like they will be taking care of them. I feel for the guys that dosen't get to fly 2-3 times a day, cause the packs would be out of the 90 days warrenty about time they went bad.
