My freind just got a sirio .18 trx for the tmaxx 2.5. It is a direct drop in. We put 3 tanks yesterday and put 3 more today. Once he finished his 6th tank we let it cool and started it up again. We let it warm up and then let it rip! BAMM! it takes off.. That thing flew. Sooo much power and it was atleast going 45-50mph. It was smoking my tmaxx 2.5. That engine is pretty amazing. But iam afraid that soon we will run into some tuning problems. O well. Sirio .18 trx- A++++++

I too am impressed with the Sirio tx18, this puppy does rip. At this point I have 8 tanks through it and am loving every minute of it. The neighbors sure hate me though, working nights coming home and firing it off and running a tank of fuel through it. Thats what they get, one night our neighbor (the only neighbor within ½ mile) came home loaded one night after the bars closed and decided to fire his chainsaw up and cut some wood. So serves him right to hear the Maxx out tearin it up once or twice a week.

The Sirio isn't that expensive. Tower has it for $199, so it can probably be had for less.

You may want to take your tranny apart and see if you stripped out second gear?? It does not happen all that often to the 38 and the 43 tooth gears in the trans (so I am told by Robbinson Racing that is why they said they do not make them) but, it could be the cause of your problems?? Then again maybe it would just rev if the gear was stripped out?? I got the forward and reverse primary gears and the top shaft from RRP and the forward out put gear from Golden Horizons and my tranny works great and should last for a long long time. Oh, I am running a Ofna Force .25 in my Maxx and it flys but, I have to sell it because I need the cash!

What was the prob? My Maxx does the same thing sometimes and I haven't been able to find a fix yet?

Thanks
