I'm working with Lucien at innov8tivedesigns in regards to getting the best Scorpion motor for it I can. I want power but not so much I have to tame it down, power is nothing without control.

I need blades for it too. The stock blades are the weak point.

If anyone knows where to get carbon blades for it let me know. Thanks.

Check out post #60, this forum. I left a link to a page for carbon blades that are drop in. I checked the root and the bolt and they will work.

Thanks for the link.

the spektrum servos I got for it are sloppy brand new, as noted by gpach, i'm taking them back and getting something else, they looked to be ideal but the slop is unacceptable.

lotta, picked up servos yesterday and checked the spektrums and noted the slop was the same as the ones in my F40. I ended up with HS50's. They say 6.1 grams on the box but they are LYING. My scale suggests they are over 7 but less than 8 (only 1 gram resolution).

I think my AUW will come in around 385. May shave a bit if I can get some lighter batteries. Would like to get it down to 340-350 but would have to get some carbon on it as well as a grinder on that thick upper al plate.

This is a sweet micro but man is it heavy for its size. I think that's the real problem here when everyone is talking about how it lacks power with its stock motor. It looks like it needs one hell of a motor to fly around with that weight

On the other hand my FP 300 class is light and it gets blown around easily. Of course it only needs a 2S and this one a 3S so easily with the right motor this can be a nice riding ship.

I would want wind to blow me around when inverted that wouldn't be fun.

Yeah I am going to hook one up but I had to buy Phoenix first.

I also want to try the ARC80 motor in it but my motor is making a grinding noise. Going to send it back and try to get it warrantied. Man I never even flew this motor was going to throw it in the 300 FP today because it is raining. My wife said I can fly in the living room if I don't hit the TV or the cat. lol

Ohh cool. Phoenix simulator is really good too. I just upgraded my computer yesterday to Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit, and Phoenix runs on it. I was worried about that.

I"ve been posting up most of what's up with this on RC groups.

Wanted to put a Scorpion in it but they don't have anything that fits the parameters of whats required.

Putting a Wasp3 in it.
