hi can anyone tell me what percent of nito should i be running in my .18 engine.

It should be between 0% and 60% depending on your engine, experience and application.

But he's about right. Your engine will work fine on 0%, a bit better on 5%, better again on 10%....what really matters is how much you're willing to pay for the extra nitro, whether you're just bashing around having fun or racing, all that kind of thing. Car fuel tends to be more expensive than plane fuel, mainly because it's got "Car Fuel" written on the label but plane fuel will work just as well and has a little more oil in it which is a good thing.

Sorry. That was a little unkind! It was a way of saying we need more information.

Lacking any other info, I would say use 20%. An .18 is a pretty small engine will respond well to 20% in 98% of all applications. Weather it's a car, boat, airplane or DF, 20% would be a good choice for good all around running (lacking other information).
