Ummm 3 blade props for what?
I have a lot of three blade props but I don't care for them at all
Just can't beat the efficiency of a 2 blader
Everytime I try a 3 blader it's always a dissapointment

Ok found some pics of my old GWS planes. The BN-2 that was in the repair hangar is now RIP as it would be alot cheaper to buy a new kit then pick up replacement parts. Also posting pics of the thrust tube from my A-4 and the stabalizing ring at the exit.

Man I love that BN-2
I have always wanted one but never picked one up
Epyaya.com has an A-10 combo that puts out over 1000 grams of thrust or 2.2 Lbs
Now that would be killer man

Yeah she flew great but really didn't handle wind to well. She got thrown around alot. I ran Faigao 5866 brushless motors with dual 18A ESC's and flew on a 2S 1600 12C pack. I got about 25 minute flight times on that pack it was insane. She was my lazy flier and would roll and loop pretty well. Sounded great in the air with the twin EDF's. Gotta get another one she was a fun little plane.

Here you go, a good place to get 3 blade props if you want them http://www.masterairscrew.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS&Category=12
I think these are much better than GWS props as GWS says don't put them on a BL motor

ok, thanks for the link...sorry im so green...the reasons i was looking the three blades were because:
A) they come with the arf kits (didnt see anything about not using them BL)
b) theyre cheap.
basically just to have something concrete to work around.... ive since deduced that
probably a 9x 3.8 or 10x 6 apc prop would suite my set up better- as long as im not making a huge $%$%/ mistake with my parameters..
http://www.electrifly.com/config/

1050 kv motor,+ 2200 mah 11v lipo , +500gr. flyweight and i get a suggested prop size 9x3.8 or 10x6....although im a bit suspect about the 9x 3.8, that pitch seems a little "weak" for 1000kv, or?

I always thought my C47 would look cool with 3 blade props but couldn't find them in 5 inch. Oh, well, it doesn't matter now.

For those looking for 3 bladed props for C-47 model's I use the MAS 6x4 props. These gave a beautifull sound to her and looked cool too.

B2 update:

Here's the story up to date. The 1st time I tried to maiden my B2, she would only run in circles on the ground. I tracked this problem to the main wheels sliding over to the upright and effectively locking up. One main wheel locked up, and of course, you get nothing but cirlces. The one and only straight line run I was able to get resulted in a nose up attitude, but the mains never left the ground.

Since then, I worked on the gear and added standoffs, solving the main gear lock up problem. Today, we had "proof of concept" success, the concept being that my B2 could indeed get off the ground! WOOHOO! However, the landing gear continue to be a problem, but now it is the nose wheel which apparently sustained enough applied kinetic energy to twist in it's mount, and ultimately, break the control horn, which is where the flight testing ended. However, prior to that event, I was able to get a number of straight take off runs and at least 3 extremely short flights, and my B2 received her 1st "battle scars." The flights were exceedingly short and mainly ended with tip stalls from low altitude (very similar to my early flights with my now deceased C 47), but they have raised my hopes for this unique and fun little airplane.

Repairs and reinforcements are in the offing. Further developments will be announced.

Azzir, I too had a B-2 at one point but suffered from the before mentioned tip stalls. After I upgraded her to the 300H motors I was able to get her in the air using a 2s 1200mah pack. I would suggest if feasable try to do a cheap brushless upgrade if you haven't done so already. Lipos have gotten small enough now compaired to when I was trying that a good brushless and small lipo combo are possible. I have even contimplated building another B-2 lately because of how far things have come since my last.

Thanks Jason, for the advice. However, I plan to stick with the stock setup, small motors and 9.6 nimh. If it flys, great! If not, it will be fun anyway.

The new GWS warbirds in 40" size are great, more detail and 2 aileron servos, etc. I have the T-6 and will be building the P-40 as soon as the LHS gets it. I used the GWS2215 on APC 10x7SF a few flights, now it's on another plane and the T-6 has a KA22-20L from donsrc.com in OHIO , great motor for $25, that and a 30A ESC was less than $59 shippe to WA
