Hi folks,
a week ago I made maiden flight with my Angel S 50 in glow version. I made conversion by myself in combination with Saito Fa82 4T with flex pipe.

Features:
Battery: Eneloop 6V 2500mAh
Engine: Saito Fa82 4T
Prop: APC 13x8
Servos: 3x Futaba S3152 (elevator and ailerons), ruder Hitec HS5645MG and throttle Hitec HS-81.
Radio: JR X9303
Receiver: Spektrum AR7000
AUW with fuel (260ml): 2.910g (no need for lead, CG is on ~150mm from leading edge in my case and I am very satisfied with snap rolls and knife edges)
Fuel: Tornado 10% NM

Where is the best CG for F3A flying?

Pictures are below

edit: attachment limit is 12 pictures, so I just added here a few more and rest you can fing on my forum here

Regards,
Nikola

Hi,

Really nice conversion; neat and clean. I believe that Sebart sells a conversion kit for the Angel. If I remember correctly their conversion kit includes the material needed to plug the holes in the first bulkhead to keep the fuel and exhaust from entering the plane.

I have the same plane (electric) and it is a very sweet flying plane.

Good luck,

Teo

After 3-4 months and one IMAC competition, all I can say is FANTASTIC! This plane is awesome for precise flying and can be very hard concurent for bigger plane like are 100cc planes.
On this competition, the wind that day was very unfavorable about 4-5m/s and with 2.9kg this plane is very, very good!
All at all, I win 3rd place that day and I am satisfied.
P.S. Also can fly 3D very well...like horizontal and vertical rolling circles, etc..

Best,
Nikola
