What connector did you solder on your home made pack to charge it with? Also what about balancing the packs?

Im really interested in knowing (pictures)! If it can fit nicely in my M18T Pro, I might forego getting Flightpowers. Sides, I wanna try out new tech! With a 60000kv and the slightly lower voltage these put out, I think it might make a perfect vehicle.

Deftones123, could you snap some pics of the pack? On and off the vehicle if you could.

Def- your probably going to be ok with that set up. A guy at our local track does the same thing with good results.

I do not balance mine yet either. My lhs just called me friday with some news on balancing. I will meet with him this coming week for my lesson. When I am better informed I will let you's know. He sounded like this was an easy thing to do so I will see. I am making a 30 cell pack out of these for a fast plane project. Actually going to be a 10s3p. That is 10 cells in series and 3 in parallel.

Kevin

P.S. I just bought a new charger that also supports these cells. It is the thunder power 610C. I will charge up to 6 cells lipo/A123. Check it out. It is a nice charger for the money.

Are these the batteries that can be charged at 2C? So it I got the 1100 mah pack I could charge it at 2 amps.

You can charge these at 5amps safely.

Def- Your one of the pioneers of this....let us know what happens. I cannot answer that question......unsure. Can you measure how many mah are going out?

Mr.Mugen how long were the runtimes in your Detta ST? If I charged at 4 amps it would be fully charged in about 15 min. correct.

I never timed them. I would say about the same as any other 1100mah pack.

Nothing really specail about putting them in. You could take a piece of foam and glue it along side of the battery so I wont slide out on impact. I ran mine on and oval in a gym and didnt have any problems with it coming out. However I think if I was jumping and turning right then maybe I would want it. I may put a piece in it now just to be safe.

Thanks Mr. Mugen! How is the pack being retained on the outside? I measured and the distance is like 35mm between the pegs... Did you wittle them down some or are you relying on the top clamp to keep it from shifting?
