It sounds like at a miniumum there is severe unbalance and when it is discharged (dead) try doing a c/10 charge for 15 hrs or get someone to test it for you. At the worst your 2 hot cells are weak/bad with others soon to follow. Continuing to charge and use it unbalanced will get worse and worse.

You could, but if you estimate it is close to discharged already then doing a c/10 charge is the best. Simply cycling, dischargeing and fast chargeing will only make it worse every cycle.

The reason the c/10 charge might "fix" it is because it is relying on the ability of the full cells to dissipate the overcharge while the others catch up. When done they are all full and equalised/balanced.

Your way is second best and should equalise balance the cells (in thier discharged state) make sure to do it very slowly.

please explain what a c/10 charge is, i discharged each cell down to 0.90 then recharged the whole pack and i got 4110mah out of it, this pack used to peak at over 4600mah.

You doubled your capacity from the problem 2000 mah, right? If so, very respectable.

How about those 2 hot cells?

A c/10 charge is (one tenth of capacity) 420 ma for 15 hrs.

I use the yellow Propels but some swear by the cheaper 4500mah red color Tenergy.
