First off, that's how they sell it, not just plans. Also, friends trading plans that are of a sellable kit seems like cheating. Pay for the kit, and support the company and designed that made the plane available.

Also, the ribs are not all on the plans, and not all the same, so you would be doing lots of guessing.

Status: online 		A lot of plans will not have the templates for the laser cut or die-cut parts so plans alone might not be enough for you. I agree with TT, just buy the kit. They are not much. Or better yet get the OMP 50" Ultimate and end up with a much better flying plane.
