Hello everybody,

I´m thinking in acquiring an EVO12 Synthetized, and I have some questions, I hope someboby can answer them.

1. Now I have a Futaba FF8, and have 3 PCM receivers(R148-R149), can EVO12 work with this receivers?

2. Can EVO12 work with both normal and Synth Multiplex receivers?

3. I fly bimotors, in Use Instructions I read that is possible to make free mixes and assign 2 or more servos to one channel. When we do this, can we control independiently the curves and travel of each channel/servo? Acts throttle cut in all servos mixed to throttle?

Many thanks in advance for your answers and help.

Greetings from Spain.

Unfortunately, PCM is proprietary so you can only us the same brand of TX to control them. The EVO will however, work with any brand of FM receiver synthesized or not.

The Evo is very capable and the mixing is open, so you should be able to accomplish what you are asking about. I would suggest you go here for help: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=300553

Mike.

Mike,

Thanks for your information and link, I´m not going to sell my FF8, so there´s no problem with PCM receivers.
I´m going to look for more details in the link.

Thanks,
Carlos.

You can mix any number of your channels to one "widget" (stick, switch, button, etc) and control the curves on each channel independently, but there is no way to change the response curves for servos on the same channel without something like JR's matchbox.

I've done the above (not for throttles though) It's fairly easy to do with the EVO 12- as stated, you do have to use 2 plugs off the receiver, but that's no big deal with 12 outlets. After that, you define amix, assign a control stick and set the servo movements. A little over-simplified and I might not have that in the right order, but it's really that simple.

That's what I love about the EVO 12 - wide open programming.
