With the hundreds of product choices that are out there these days it has become an exhaustive task to even locate all the options which exist.

In order to save everyone the time of seeking out information on all the available lipos, ESCs, etc. out there, I decided to share the data that I have compiled including a comprehensive list of every available lipo from 2S and 150 mAh to 15S and 10,000 mAh. All the major brands are included such as Thunder Power, FlightPower, Kong Power, Hyperion, CommonSenseRC, TrueRC, Tenergy, AirThunder, MaxAmps, PolyQuest, Neu, Tanic, etc. There are also extensive lists of available gyros, ESCs, motors, and other RC flight related components.

It is in spreadsheet format and allows you to sort by headings as well as filter the given results. Outside of normal statistics (weight, dimensions, price, etc.) there are columns which allow you to sort to determine which battery offers the most bang for the buck (capacity per dollar) or capacity per weight (mAh/gram).

The product lists will be updated frequently with new products as they become available. Check it out here:

http://progressiverc.com/Research.html

Feedback on this work in progress would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know what you would like to see added and information posted in this thread will be updated to the website. So, if you'd like to see a product that I am missing, you see a stat that is wrong, or if you know where you can find an item for a lower price please post it here.

I have recently added the balance connector type as part of the description for each battery as suggested by another user. Here is a partial screenshot of the 3S LiPo battery list filtered by "2100 mAh" and sorted by mAh per gram as an example of what's available:

If you see any updates or revisions that need to be made please let me know. Here is a table which shows the number of unique items currently listed:

Cheers!
David

It is invaluable if you shop like me. It takes me a long time to make hand written spreadsheets. This saves me a lot of time/money.

It should be a sticky in the batts/chargers as well. Thanks to you , and Welcome to RCU.

Thanks for the vote of confidence and welcoming - I am glad I could help out! This research stems from my own habit of searching for products and comparing data and I am glad to share it with others.

It is also a good recommendation to include this with the batteries and chargers, since it may be more applicable there. I believe that the lists are current with every available charger and lipo available (and many that are discontinued) with there specifications, price, and a link. I will ask a moderator if it can be moved over there - cheers!

Really nice work here. I used to keep a somewhat similar compilation of info on servo's, for my own use. The listing is now very much out of date. Your listing on the LiPo's is really very valuable to me as I can check on both the weight and dimension(s) of a pack and compare it to what I am using now. Some of my models can only accept certain size packs. Thanks for your efforts.

I'll request a couple of stickies in batts and charger. I'll also check out your chargers section.

Thanks Red - I'll continue to update and develop the lists to make it easier for folks to find information on electric flight components. Please feel free to contribute products (links help !) and suggestions to improve the information provided.

I have added some new lipos from FMA Cellpro and DualSky to the list and added hundreds of new motors which now include the complete lines from Plettenburg, Neu, Scorpion, Hyperion, ARC, DualSky, Kontronik, AXI, MotrolFly, Razor, RS-Motoren, and many others - enjoy!

I have made extensive updates to the charger section to include over 120 lithium polymer chargers including those by Team Checkpoint and Hobbico. I have also added the entire line of new chargers from Schulze, Bantam, Hyperion, and ThunderPower. Let me know if you see any other items that need to be added - enjoy!

All the lists have been updated to include many new products and the motor list has been expanded to include every motor from Hobbycity/United Hobbies. The complete lines from many other manufacturers including Mega Motors, MP Jet, MicroDAN, Torcman, Suppo, Turnigy were added and there are now over 1200 motors listed in total. Columns can be sorted in the spreadsheets by clicking on the column headings. Enjoy!

I just got through updating the lists with many new lipos, ESCs, and motors. All the brushless motors from E-Flite have been added to the list as well as the complete updated line from Medusa Research. There are now over 1400 different motors listed! Let me know if you guys see anything else that needs to get added and help me and your fellow hobbyists out by posting up a link.
