Look at the new e-Station LP-6 charger.

2S to 6S packs
up to 4 Amp charge rate
Does Li-Poly, Li-Ion, and Li-Fe (A123)
Can connect to optional e-Station PB-6 balancer.

That looks very nice and simple. The specs are very big though (great thing). 6S and 4 amps.

It will do much more than the polycharge by great planes. http://www.electrifly.com/chargers/gpmm3010.html

thebiglol;

I dont know squat about batteries and chargers, so I find someone who is a pro in the businss who truly knows his stuff, not just blowing wind or hawking my own product. You can really get burned with some of the stuff for sale out there these days. Go to the "Batteries and Chargers" forum by Red Scoefield and spend some well spent time reading. Hopefully will save you a lot of money, and maby your life. ENJOY

You absolutely need a charger that tells you how much charge is going back into the batteries. Has adjustable charge currant and does cell ballancing. Probably you will not find one for $50. If you have to, get a plain one like the one above but you will eventualy have to get a better one. Having the ability to charge 2 batteries at once is a huge +.

There is no entry level charger just cheap chargers or good chargers.

Looks like RC Accessories has some good chargers so spend the bucks and get what you will need not what you can afford.
http://www.fmadirect.com/ <------FMA has top of the line chargers for lipo and a123.
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXEYD4&P=0 <--------- A good choice also, but you will need dapters to charge a123 cells

Where are "Chargery Power" chargers available in the US?

For entry-level lipo charging I would save a little more and go with the FMA CellPro 4S which balance charges lipos.

Great Jason, thanks for the link. I was struggling to find a domestic distributor, although I have them posted with specifications on the comprehensive charger lists here:

http://progressiverc.com/Research.html

I will update the Chargery Power product info for the 1010B, the 550B, the C650, the 680B, and the 630B with pricing and links from BPHobbies. These are all very nice, feature packed, and competitive solutions in their respective class.

I also noticed that Chargery Power is now distributing there own brand of lipos which I will look to add to the battery lists ASAP.

Will Chargery Power be adding the 106B model to their repertoire any time soon?

Cheers,
David
