can someone point me in the direction of information on how to make composite seeker tails??

Dave produced a plug. I made molds from the plug. I also made male molds so that I could make more sets of female molds. I can make a set of molds in a week or two from the time someone orders them.

You need a vacuum pump and a variety of different fiberglass materials. There are several threads on here about making composite parts.

You can also make balsa/composite seeker tails, I did a thread on that a few years ago, should be able to find it with a little searching. I'll try and post a link to it in the near future.

if i was in the states then yes buying a kit would be the way to go but as im in the UK the shipping and taxes would really make it expensive. that and i like to 'experiment'

My kits come with a 1/4" slat balsa tail.

You can build it conventionally, laminate it with glass and skin hinges, or use a commercially available composite V-tail.
