Status: offline 		I have an MRC 960 that seems to only want to charge battery packs that are 9.6v. If I try a 7.2v or 8.4 volt pack it show "Err" after I hit start. The charge shows voltage for each pack prior to hitting start then "Err". That is except for 9.6v packs which work fine.

Any ideas what the problem is?

Status: offline 		That's a new one. I've never heard of one doing that. Can you send it in for evaluation?

Status: offline 		I'm gonna double check it again tonight when I get home but I think maybe it isn't actually charging the 9.6v batteries either. Hitting the start button puts the charger in test mode (only on the 9.6v batts) but the voltage levels didn't seem to be changing. It went from test mode into charge mode as normal but I don't think the voltage went up any there either. I am afraid it may be dead.

What/Where do I need to send it?

Status: offline 		No, when I plug it into the wall it doesn't display anything. :-(

I noticed on you return policy that it states you will not accept units for repair if they have been modified in any way. I changed my DC connection from the battery clips to a cigarette lighter adapter though it was never used. Will you still accept it for repair?
