Hi I am new to RC helis, and have my mind set on a 4ch Dragonfly 4.

which one should I get?

the bigger #1 or the smaller #3?

I guess (but donno 4 sure) the #1 has better spare parts available and is bigger, while the #3 is smaller, but has a lipo setup...

how do they compare in terms of "ease of use"?

any thoughts/ideas that could help me in my decision?

thx
al

If you have never flown a helicopter before, go with the 4#1. The 4#3 is more fragile and harder to fly. In general, the smaller they are the harder they are to fly. If you want something easier to fly, but still a lot of fun, look at the coaxial helicopters like the Lama v3 or v4.

i would go for the 4#3 because you dont need a big space to fly it. I fly mine around my workshop and do house missions.also they are pretty hard to break
