Hi lads had a wildhare extra in the shed for over a year now. I am no builder and have put the fitting out of the plane off long enough now. I know a lot of you will think i am thick as it is only putting servos in ect, but to me i dont want to mess such a great model up!

I have a dl50 it has come with 2"3/4 standoffs. By my calculations i need to add 3/4" to the stand offs, but how what is the best way?

Thanks

Paul

Get a small piec of 1x2 hardwood from Home Depot or Lowes. Cut out squares about 1", That material is 3/4" thick. Drill a hole in each square and you have your 3/4" spacers.

I assume this is the V2 Extra. If so cowl bolts are 8-32, canopy is 4-40 and wings are 1/4"-20.

If it's the early version that has the cowl screws on the side then the screws are 4mm. Same for the wings and tail group. Length to suit.
