Look up one of our club members, Larry Turner, here on RCU....he has been flying one for several seasons, originally D/F that he converted to Wren 44......flys very nice like all Sabers, although you have to keep your eye on it, since at 150 MPH and micro size compared to my big BVM 80" Saber, it get small real fast.....

It is a great plane. I still have one .45 ICDF powered. his plane can be built very light if you are going for DF. No flaps or brakes needed until you add a turbine.

Great Flying bird. Was my first Ducted fan jet. Just make sure you put the Aux Inlet in the wing as per the planes if you are making it a Ducted Fan. It does need the extra air.

I have 2 of them. One on Wren 44 and the other on the Wren 44 Gold. They fly great.

being shipped out today from Orlando FL. UPS to Indiana hope it dont take to long; I do believe UPS ships on weekends,I have a K&B82 turbaxIII setup but in need of a con/rod,
also have a K&B77 viojet fan ready to drop in, (Has anyone placed a BVM fan in one of these?)also question on retracts got some robart mains which I think will be to large for
the wing, also have some springair (i think 302's)not sure if these are small enough for the
wings either,any suggestions?
thanks in advance:Chuck

Robart makes a set of what they call Slim Line Retracts. These will fit into the wing. If I remember right, I did have to sand them down just a touch on the housing. They do touch the top wing skin. It is a good Idea if the wing is not already sheeted to lay in a piece of 1 oz fiber glass in the retract aera. Also a robart on the nose with a pull pull for steering and a cam to rotate it 90 degrees for the retract positin.

Are you getting the instruction manuel with this plane?

All this is in there. If not I still have mine I think.

The JHH. Saber flys very well ,you will like it. Hold a little up ele. on take off roll to unload the nose wheel. It will land at a slower speed than other DF jets, and it glides well too. FANG.
