Thanks for the fast reply....one more dumb question...I am new to this electron head stuff. When i order this charger I think it asks for the type of interface. I have an Appogee 3800 milamp 3 cell with Dean plug. I don't like using the Dean plug anyway. What type of interface?? do you recommend? Thanks again

When you connect the battery to the BC-6, you will make 2 connections. First connection is the main output of the charger to the discharge leads of the battery. If you have a Deans plug on it, you will need a Banana plug to Deans charge cable. This is an option in the Charge cables drop down list on the web site for the charger.

The 2nd connection is the balance tap of the battery to the balancer on the charger. This connection is done via the EAC128 connection board. The board of your choice (You need the EAC128) is included at no charge with the charger.

For the Appogee packs, you will need to clip off the clasp on the tap for it to fit into the EAC128 board. The board will accept 2S through 6S packs.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Evan,

I have the BC-6 - love it. Charge all my RC batts as well as AAs and hand tool packs.

Question tho. Any way to get the temp probe working while still using the USB interface?

Thanks
Scott

Unfortuneatly there is not. I have recommended to Bantam that when they do a main board update that they look into being able to do so.

Besides using the USB for temperature, what purpose drives to connect it to a PC?

The graphing software kit (EAC200) allows you to graph your charge and discharge curves of your batteries.

Evan,

What's the difference between the old and new versions of the e-Station BC6 charger?

Thanks!

The case and faceplate are the only differences.

I have purchased a BC6 with all the cables and would like some assistance. I am having difficulties understanding the manual.
I wish to charge 2 Lipo 2100 3s 25c batteries. I wish to know
1. what cables to use and and in what order.
2. what I need to type in the units program.
I have attached a photo with all the parts marked . If possible could you match up the leads I need to charge up both batteries.
Any help would be appreciated.
