try to richen the high speed needle an 1/2 turn, if that help good, if it gets worse, put it back 1/2 turn and lean it another 1/2 turn and see if that helps. its always better to richen then lean at first.

ok, my glow plug igniter is charging right now, once i get it charged I will try that. I am at my dads right now, and after checking mine out the first time, he is now bidding on an RC car on ebay. So he might become a member on here too. Thanks again for all the advice. If I have anything else I need help with I will ask.

OK, it doesn't seem to be bogging down anymore. Running pretty good. One concern I have is that on start up, I am getting a little bit of fuel spitting out of the tailpipe. After it warms a little it seems to stop. Is this a problem or should I not worry about it?

OK, looks like I am full of problems. I tried to run my car again today. Nothing is working. I can get the car to fire, but I have no trottle control or steering control at all. I have replaced all the batteries with new ones, and still nothing. What could cause this to happen?

I got a little snow in it yesterday from crashing into a snow bank. But I shut it down and dried it really quick, and it ran just fine after that. After about 3 hrs I started it up again and it ran fine. Got home from work today and it won't work.

Do the servos twitch when you turn the switch on the car on and straighten back up when the reciever is turned on? I had this problem when I first got mine. I didn't know what was going on. I took the battery pack out and ran a voltage test on the plug coming out of the battery pack and noticed there was no voltage. I took the batteries out and switched them around (just to see) put them back in and it was working fine after that. It might be a bad connection or something.

Yes they will but your not suppose to turn on the car without turning on the transmitter first, and when turning them off you turn the car off first then the transmitter.

Yeah, I know. I was just trying to see if his servos were twitching to see if they were getting voltage from the batteries. But I do catch myself doing that sometimes. LOL!

no, they aren't doing anything. I have turned the transmitter on before the car everytime, as well as turned the car off before the transmitter. I don't know what the deal is. How would I go about eliminating possible causes?

plug the battery directly in to the reciever and see if it work, if not then you know its not the switch. make sure the crystal in tight in the transmitter and reciever. if all this is good, most likely water found its way to something.

the battery plugs directly into the switch, then into the reciever, unplug the battery from that plug and put it where the switch was wired into it.

yeah, I figured that out. I should learn to look at things before I open my mouth....well put my fingers to work. My switch is shot. Once I plug the battery straight to the receiver, everything worked. Do they sell new switches?

me too. I was feeling like this with all the problems I was having, but now that I am getting everything figured out I feel like this . I am not going to drive it anymore until ALL of the snow is gone, and things have dried up, and I find a nice open parking lot to drive in. Hopefully by then my dad will have his and we can have some good racing/bonding time together.

After getting to drive my buggy those couple of times, while breaking in the motor, I really enjoyed it. Although I almost took my dad out at the shins one time, it was still fun, and we were both laughing. I just gotta keep telling my self to wait till this little bit of snow we have left goes away, so I don't ruin my car anymore. I think this weekend I am going to go to my kids school though. They got a nice size parking lot, and it is right across the street from my friends house, so that will be cool. He hasn't gotten to see it yet. His neighbor has some sort of truck too, so maybe he will bring his out, and we can have some fun together. Anyway. I will let you know how things go with it this weekend. Thanks again.

yeah they are. I might have to do that. A video would be cool. I actually have some movie making software on my computer, so I can do a pretty cool one.
