ok, so my urge to drive got bad. I took it outside and drove it. Stayed out of the snow. Richened it up a little, and it hummed beautifully. She is definitely a runner now. Thanks for all of the help. Now I just have to replace my switch and all will be good.

that is what I figured. Actually I was wondering if I could take the switch off of one of my old electric cars and use it? Do you think this would work?

Possibly... check to see if it's the same type of switch.

you can if its the same, most electric rc's have an esc and the switch is built into it. If it has the older mechanical speed control and the same type of switch, its good

I am just going to go buy a switch. I am not even going to bother with the other cars. They still work, so I oughta keep them that way for my kids. I will let them play with the electric ones.

OK, I am going to get a switch this weekend, so that problem is solved. Now the new issue, but I actually know what to do this time. The issue is that I have to buy new wheels for my buggy. I was driving it after work today, and I guess you could say I lost control of it, and it slid sideways, right into a grass embankment. unfortunately for me, it hit square and stopped the car dead in it's tracks, breaking the rear rim. So I guess there will be no more driving it till the weekend. Oh well. At least I have the car running perfect now.

that is kinda what I was thinking. Besides the wheels on the electric ones probably won't work. I will have to wait until this weekend.

i am sorry i dont remember what you had, i think you said a tornado, if so, get the stock ones, they work the best, if you can get the dish style, i think they are more durable. i get them from clermontmotorsports.com or redcat.

It should be glowing the plug that is, sounds like a bad ignitor.

it could be the igniter or the glow plug, try checking on another glow plug just to make sure it not the glow plug that is bad.

OK, so my hobby store doesn't have anything for Redcat vehicles, so it looks like I have to order from online. I have checked out Redcat and clermont on the web. Is there any others that I should check out?
