Thanks a lot Wayne! That is priceless info! I really fееl obligated to do good work on this bird!
No kidding Evil! Especially in the early WW2 birds where the metal was little and most was wood.
I also got today a set of first wing and fuse from Fokke for his small ME-109 in 1:10 scale. Here is the thread for her: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=772065&highlight=fokke

I think thats why I like the Russian planes so much. For so much of the war Russia was so behind in technology to the Germans, the rest of the Allies and just about everyone else, yet they made do. They used what they had and got better. The Mig-3, the Yak-3, the LaGG-3 (ok maybe not the LaGG *grin*), the T-34 and on and on. All considered crude, poorly made, lacking technology, yet the Russians made them count.

Its a wee little Bf 109! Nice!

It's looking good!! We just put the horizontal on our "giant scale Yak" today. We should be able to fit the engine mount next weekend.

Thanks! There is lots more to be done, but I keep moving forward.
Wayne, can you get some pics form the tail sections please? That part is usually very difficult to find in pictures from the past.

Very nice looking!

Are you going to put the vertical stab offset on the model?

Here are some pics of the tail. I should have taken some before we put it on as now it's hard to get a direct overhead plan shot. I do have another horizontal in storage for another project. I can take pics of that if needed.

Very nice pictures. I'd love to buy the Rudder from some of the WW2 warbirds to be able to hang on my office wall. That would be quite neat.
