Thanks Wayne! I try to do as scale as I can. Almost done here. Intakes will be on separate mold, so I'm not going to work on them now. Have to round leading edge and wingtips. And must be glassed immediately after that, because I use very soft balsa for easy shaping. Pretty much glassing everything is next step.

Well, I was sick last week, some cold or flu or something and didn't move much forward. Basically horizontal stab i ready for molding. Today I receive some fiberglass cloth and epoxy dye. Now is time for glassing the wing and the fuse. Probably this weekend.
Your Bird look awesome! Can't wait to see her completed!

Slow progress: stabilizer is filled and primed, wing is glassed. Next will be filler on the wing and glass for the fuse.

Here you go. Specs are as follows, Aileron length, 62.25" Aileron cord at the tip 4.75' aileron cord at the tip, 12.75" These dimentions are from the wing opening looking down fron the top as the aileron is longer in cord when viewed from the bottom. There are 9 ribs not counting the end ribs with a rib spacing of 6.22" The trim tab is 10.25" long and 1.125" wide and the inboard end is 8.0" from the inboard end of the aileron. The rib stitching runs fore and aft instead of side to side as typically seen. rib stich spacing is .5" The aileron mounted on the wing has the side stitching which looks bad to me. the aileron not mounted is stitched correctly.

Wayne
