My DF5 has been acting very wierd. The motors keep spasming which makes the Df very hard to fly. Also, it continuously yaws to the left. I thought that maybe one of the motors' capacitors had gone, but no. I switched the board with the old DF4's circuit board; Problem gone. The first time i noticed this problem was when i was flying outside with the eyecam. I can only think of 3 possible causes:

1) The transmitter is faulty, which is highly unlikely. I charged it up again, no difference. But why would it break in midflight?

2) The circuit board is broken, quite unlikely.

3) The camera i have been using is the normal eycam which did not come with a 3 pin connector. I had to order one. But i already had flown around 10 mins continuously on that particular flight, so why?

I hadn't crashed the heli prior to the flight. I have no clue what has happened. Can anyone help?

Thanks.

Does this happen with the cam removed and the TI off? Are the motors/props perfectly straight and not twisted and level with the DF board. That would cause the yaw issue too.
Cheers,
Jim

Yes, but i found the problem. I'm sorry, i always post ahead of time just in case it all goes wrong. The 9 pin connection between the yaw gyro and the circuit board is loose. Need to resolder. Sorry, and thanks.
