you need 12mm hex rims, most 2.2 and 2.8 rims are 12mm hex. Here is my redcat racing tsunami (mutant) with rustler rear rims and pro line gladiator tires

one thing, i tried bigger tires and rims on the truck and its just too high geared with the stock 2 speed, you really cant use larger tires, unless you put this single speed setup in it, i really like the single speed setup better than the 2 speed: you need 12mm hex rims, most 2.2 and 2.8 rims are 12mm hex. Here is my redcat racing tsunami (mutant) with rustler rear rims and pro line gladiator tires

Are the tires on the volcano larger than the ones on the exceed infinity? Im looking for something at least a little taller and wider than whats on it. And the ones on the volcano look bigger....and alot better

the tires and rims from the volcano sv are larger than the stx, thte stx is the older version and looks like the exact same thing as the infinitive from exceed

Here's what I put on my USE to be buggy but now a Tsunami, The thinking that bigger is better remains true. These were the thoughts behind the new MOAB 2.2” tire from Proline for 1:10 scale trucks, Its larger-than-standard diameter and sidewall tread
FEATURES: Larger-than-standard diameter (creates 1/2" taller ground clearance)
Full-bodied tread gives traction from just about any angle, A whopping 5” x 2.25”

With 2.2 Mudrock challenger beadlock chrome rim that have the 12mm hex. Here is what it looks like so far, keep in mind with tires these big you have to have a single speed tranny with a 13 tooth clutch bell.
