hi my name is zach i am building a b-26 from jerry bates and i am about three weeks in to build. Here are some pics of the build.

What engines are you planing on using? I have a pair of G38s that are going in mine hopefully this spring.

it is 106 inch wing span. i am new at building. i am medically retired from the us marine corps after the war in Iraq so i have alot of time to build. i was thinking about using g38 for power but i am undesided. dose any one have any in put? please feel free to give advice on the build if you see anything i should change.

G-38's should be a good match. I've got two of them in my present build of a Yellow P-38 that's a 101" WS. They're simple and reliable and cheap. Chief sells them for $290.

Zach, Go with the 38s!!!! Get a couple of (small) 4 blade props with it. You will like how it fits in the cowl. Rear exhaust is fantastic. Come by my garage and pick one up for test fitting. It's layin on the work bench.

i would love to see pics of your p-38 you post some on here. where can i get 4 blade props? also my friend darren tells me that you can get 4 blade props that you can change the pitch are those any goood or should i stay away from that. on another note dose any know should i use air silenders on the gear doors or shoul i use servos.

Here's the thread that I started last summer on the Yellow P-38 but I had to stop in the Fall due to other non-airplane projects. I hope to get started again after I finish up my Yellow AT-6 build. Wing Mfg is an A-26, A Douglas airplane. The B-26 Marauder is made by Martin. Thanks though, Darren

hey everyone i got back from my trip to flordia and today me and darren covered the top side of the center section of the wing here are the new picks. we also put in air lines and servo extensions 3 24inchers on each side.
