I've been looking for a Pershing Missile from Estes for many years and still looking so if any one has one or knows of one preferably not built I would be interested in obtaining one.

Thanks
Gwyl

You can find them on Ebay occasionally, or post a wanted ad on TRF (http://www.rocketryforum.com/).

If you want a REALLY impressive Pershing, try this baby... http://www.polecataerospace.com/pershing_ii_5_5.htm

there is also a nice smaller MPR (mid-power) kit from TLP, see more here: http://www.rocketreviews.com/reviews/kits/tlp_pershing_1a.html

That brings back some memories. I was stationed in a Pershing missile unit in Germany in 1976-1978. Unlike loving to see model rockets fly, you never wanted to see one of those do anything but sit there quietly!

It does bring back memories. I was in Schwaebisch Gmuend Germany from 72-74 in a Pesrhing missile unit. And yes, I'm glad they just sat there quietly.

Me too. Alpha Battery. 76-78. Right before I left, the unit went to Inneringen and dropped a warhead when mating the stages.

The Estes maxi Brute Pershing comes up on eBay once in a while and they go for some big bucks. I chose to scratch build my own using the Estes plans.
