Status: offline 		Anyone ever doubled up two 2300mAh 6.6v packs to replace a motorcycle's starter battery? Just offhand, it seems like it'd work admirably; and the weight savings would be worth it to many sportbikers. But it's not worth $220 + a week of fiddling to me to find out.

Status: offline 		There was a post on RC Groups where a 4S was used as a replacement for the 12 V Pb in a 10 HP buggy

Thread brings up the questions of starting loads and initial recharge in rush somewhat.

Note : The float charge recomemdation for A123 cells is 3.45 per cell (13.8)and many autos / cycles charging systems are closer to 14.5. Most likely not a big deal.
