Tom,
How is the DA100 mounted on the 35%? is it just by using some thick ply behind it or is it a spacer method like on the aeroworks planes? i see u have a da-100 mounting kit for it could you explain what is in this? thanks

My mounting kit is done by epoxying 3/4" square oak to a ply plate, then I cut it to the proper length and drill the oak.

It's like having standoffs except that it can't rock back and forth. It's done in 2 pieces (top and bottom) leaving the sides clear to get at the carb for adjustments.

Photos below.

I normally charge $25 for the mounting kit, that also gives you the long screws, blind nuts and washers, but for the navy, check with me when you order.

Maybe somebody else will help with the measurement, I don't have one around here that's not in a box.

There are 3 color sets. BLue/yellow, red/white, and blue/white.

In these photos the red/white and blue white are actually the 41% Extra, but it's the same plane. The blue on the blue white 35% Extra is actually a slightly lighter blue than what is in these photos. It is like what is used on the 102" Sukhoi, it's very pretty.
