I am just trying to think how I could save some cash and make my own cf or fiberglass blades (maybee with l e d s)

They are so critical that I don't think I would even attempt that. Most blades are formed in an autoclave so they have great strength and rigidity properties. Fly woodies if your worried about crashing, for a 450 they are what, $15. I know that good carbons can get upward of $65 for my Rex though and several hundred when you get into the big stuff. If you want to save money practice on the sim .

Not advisable. You get an unbalanced or weak blade and you are close by at high RPM... Bad things happen.
