I began by photocopying the fuselage side template, which had to be done in parts and joining the pieces together accurately.

Next I stuck this to lite-ply and cut it out with a jigsaw.
Then I marked where all the holes should be and cut them out.

Next up was the making of all the parts that were to be stuck onto the fuselage sides.

Then I stuck all the required balsa to the fuselage sides.
And then, to finish the fuselage sides, added thin ply to the wing saddles.

Then I had to make the 6mm plywood formers.
This proved a little harder for my hand-tools!!

Some of the scale detail I want to include, is not included in the plans.
I want to include lighting, and the tailwheel isn't right...

The solution for the tailwheel was to construct my own tailwheel bracket which extended out of the underside of the fuselage.
See photos.

I then fancied starting on something else so made the fin and rudder.
(The rudder still needs finishing on one side)
