Your ailerons will have to run off of 1 channel only (channel #1). Channel 2 and 4 are your v-tail with channel 3 as your throttle, channel 5 as your retract and channel 6 as your flap channel. The ailerons will need to be y'ed to channel 1 and your flaps y'ed to channel 6.

yes, still does not solve the mixing problem on channel 4, which is normaly rudder, since its v-tail, would not have full range of motion to steer.

Unfortunately you run out of channels to do what you want. Using a Y harness to run a separate steering servo will not work because it is still affected by the v-tail mixing. The only way to do this is with a 7+ channel radio where you could use a P-mix.

Mike.

I have a taildragger Cub without ailerons so the rudder/tailwheel is on the right stick. I have flown it and my other four channel planes back to back numerous times so the ground steering with one plane is on the left stick and the other on the right. It has never been a problem.

That being said, I built a KMP V-tail Bonanza and have an Optic. I y'ed off the aileron channel.

For slow speed stuff that would work, but you would probably want to have the D/R set low so that small adjustments on take off doesn't make you to drag a wingtip!
