I ordered an M41A3 Heng Long RC tank, paid for it in good faith; and received a (less expensive) German Panther instead from NitroRCX.

Now they want me to pay for return shipping to exchange this for the CORRECT item that I ordered in the first place.

If I decide to just keep the tank they refuse to refund the difference in price from my original charge. What kind of business practice is this??? So if I pay to return it and they send me another incorrect item, I just keep going round and round?? I've never experienced such a thing in all my many on-line purchases. They state their policy is that the customer pays return shipping for defective or incorrect items, but I can't find anywhere on their site where this policy exists or if they mean an incorrect ordered item or incorrectly shipped item.

How can someone in shipping look at an invoice for an "M41A3 Walker Bulldog" and pack up a "German Panther"?? Can someone say "illiterate"? Be very careful about ordering from NitroRCX. You never know what you will end up getting or be prepared to pay more $$ if you really want what you ordered. Consider me a FORMER customer of NitroRCX. Lesson learned.

Some of that might make sense if you ordered the wrong tank and just wanted to return it,but when they want you to pay return postage for their misstake that is not right.Don't know what to reccomend, but I would e-mail them and tell them you belong to a popular RC forum (wether you use the actual forum name is uo to you) and inform them that you are posting this information and will continue to do so until they correct their error. If they care about their business name they my get it straight for you.??

I'm hoping that a second e-mail to them will result in a more satisfactory answer. Yes, I did order and paid for an M41A3, received an invoice from them for an M41A3, a shipment confirmation that they shipped an M41A3, and when I opened up the package, it was a German Panther. I refuse to be penalized for return shipping. I fulfilled my part of the transaction in full. In all fairness, I will pursue a resonable course of correspondence with them to try an resolve this amicably. Hopefully we can get to a positive outcome at the end of the day. Will let you know if they turn out to be a reputable company to do business with.

If you used a credit card you can call them and contest the charge, I have done this successfully in the past when dealing with bad faith vendors. Your invoice proves you correct, the credit card company will reverse the charges, some bad vendors won't even what the wrong item back due to shipping costs.

If you used Paypal they also have a dispute option where you can make a claim

Well, they have acknowledged that the error was on their end and offered a $$ credit that is fair. I worked through an individual on the forums that is affiliated with NitroRCX.

Unfortunately, the Bulldog that I originally ordered is now out of stock. Guess this is just not my day. So much for the birthday surprise for my son. He's been talking up this tank for quite a while.

Thanks to all who offered advice. Looks like NitroRCX is going to try to make this right, so if all goes well, we'll eventually get the tank my son wanted in the first place. Will let you all know if this falls apart before we have the Bulldog in our hands.

Hello darsmith,
Glad to hear they are trying to make things right for you.I looked at their web-site and their prices for tanks seemed pretty good.A lot of businesses want a good name and repete customer's,some fail to see the importance of making things right when things go wrong. When you do good things it can pay you back many times over.Hope you get the tank you want for your son---
