Are there other benefits to buying the Titan vs the FS King Kong?

IMHO, the FS is not in the same league as the Devil/Titan...
And, when you factor in that the FS engine is only good as a door stop, then it's a no-brainer decision to get the Carson (stock CY).
Don't just look at the short term best "deal".

Hey guys I just found this US distributor www.fsracingusa.com I contacted them through email and they said the site should be up and accepting backorders shortly, they said there product will be in stock in about 3 - 4 weeks so I know who im dealing with they seem like some really cool guys chatting with them through there bold chat. After all the issues I have been hearing about with that OverSizeRc.com site I think I will save my money and wait till this US distributor is up and running, it looks like they will be carrying all the replacement parts and upgrades .

Probably another drop-shipper... I would confirm before ordering anything from them.

Ow there legit, the warehouse and main office is just a short drive away from me and they have customer pickup at the warehouse so I guess it will be pretty difficult for a drop shipper to have a warehouse in central WI that I can go and pick mine up from. They are the real deal why would a drop shipper have a www.fsracingusa.com address if there just a drop shipper ?, if anyone needs some info on them let me know I am just a short drive away, I cant wait till they get there first containers I would rather deal with a US distributor then over seas any day, you have no protection with over seas transactions I have been burned before. Besides that what am I gonna do every time something breaks, wait 3 months for parts from the UK or Australia? it would probably be faster to track down the Chinese factory and have them mail me some parts. I have been big into RC for several years now and always wanted to get into RC 1/5th scale gas trucks, not as much mess as the Nitro nightmares so I will be eager to purchase one and see what there all about. From all the videos I see online they pretty much have all the bugs worked out of them so for the price I think it would be an awsome start and room for endless amount of customizing and uprgrading without having to start with a $1500 truck. Once I get one I will have plenty of videos and pics up hopefully we can crossrefrence all the parts sooner or later and see whats all interchangeble with its predisesors for twice the loot, none the less it looks like a hell of alot of fun for under a $1000 bucks so I think im gonna wait until the US importer and distributor will have them available for sale as I would like to purchase one soon

oversizerc also has an internet address, and I'm sure a store front and all that stuff too... It means nothing. They still drop ship.
When they're operating, please go there and take a pic of everything.
I hope that it's true. I'll need to buy parts for this piece of turd, and I won't be dealing oversize again.

I was wasn't referring to the fact that they have a web address I was referring to the name of the address FS Racing USA hint hint the Chinese factory wouldn't allow some drop shipping company to use there copy righted name. I wouldn't deal with an over seas company to begin with so if this place can supply me with what I need at a good price which it looks to be (Plus there centrally located being in WI which means 3 to 4 business days ground then I guess I personally could care less if its 2 old crusty people in a basement, but being that there close to me I will be making a trip over to there warehouse as soon as the FS products are in stock in the next 3 - 4 weeks. I doubt they will allow me to walk through there warehouse and take pictures of there operation and product and I don't expect to see some huge 300,000 square foot factory with a huge sign saying FS Racing USA, from my understanding they import other product from over seas as well and have warehouse all over the US so I'm sure you will start to see them popping up on other sites as this company says they will supply to dealers as they do the rest of there product. I'm really excited to start working with these guys I hope there everything I have been researching, I will let you know how my experience goes and hopefully this www.fsracingusa.com is the real deal and starts to get this sweet product to everyone in the US that wants one, have been watching the site and see there will be a 1/4 scale available soon I cant wait to see that bad boy with the 35cc gas in it.

Do you work for them? You seem overly excited about it.
Their engines are junk, and a larger bore isn't going to make it any better.
A better idea would be to get the rolling chassis REALLY cheap, and add a decent engine and electronics.

haha do I work for them lol ? I wish then I could get stuff at cost no I don't work for them or even know them yet but hopefully soon why are you so concerned about it do you work for them? sounds like you had a bad experience with an dealer but everything I have been reading about the product has been good so far so I guess I will be the judge when I get my own. I don't know what it should or shouldn't come with until I get one from them I have already been looking into performance stuff and different motors from the gomeyer.com web site that guy seems to know his stuff and has alot of engines so personally I could care less what comes on it because I'm sure I will build my own anyway from one of the Goped engines. Yes I do seem overly excited because like I said before I wont fall victim of the over seas BS like some seem to have to I have been waiting for some time to get one from someone in the US.

Just making sure that you know what you're in for...
The core of it isn't too bad. You'll need to add some MCD parts to stiffen things up, and again, the engine is good for a door stop.
Once you factor in the $500 or so extra that you'll have to spend, you may as well have just bought the Carson Gas Devil. It comes stock with a CY27. It's not perfect either, but much better in my opinion. And, it's getting a lot of support. So, parts and "hop-ups" should be readily available.
You're right. I had a terrible experience with this particular dealer. But, if the RC had been all that, I would still be a happy camper for what I paid.

anyone can drop ship from anywhere, use any web address, under any business........thats the beauti of drop shipping you dont have to touch the merchandise it ships directly to your customer.

Look at EMC they are a US based drop shipper they import from china and set up a US network that drop ships to US customers ......the business that order have the option to receive the products or have it shipped direct to the customer.

The main reason the US importer will set up a warehouse for resale ...So he can buy in bulk and save $$$

Even the US importer has a 30 day waiting period for the order from china mabey longer...I believe hes waiting for product as I'm writting this thread

If you ordered during the Chieneese New Year, which people did, thats like 3 weeks of hoilday in china and your order will be put off a month...
( which happened to alot of people who ordered in Jan.or Feb this year hence the late shippments and upset customers)

One US dealer did that.... ordered 20 $300+ rolling chassis...added a zenoah and radio...

now he charges $1200 for the FS 4x4 onroad...he renamed it the CYCLONE GT

The way I see it is worse case senerio I can sell it like the hundreds of HPIs, MCDs, ect on Ebay and Craigs List but I think for the money I will be holding on to it and upgrading it over time as long as US dealers can supply the parts what do I have to loose. I appreciate the concern cal-torqu but I think I will bite the bullet and give the FS another try and see if this new distributor can back there product, its only money and if you cant afford to purchase a $1000 toy then maybe you shouldnt be buying one so if it works out cool and if not then lesson learened.
