All of this discussion is great. I definitely sympathize with the tough decision of FS vs MCD. Honestly, if someone in the USA would have had stock in the FS MT, I would have bought it. They didn't. I chose to contact PRO5thscale and purchased a geniune MCD and I am glad I did. I will not bash anyone else no matter what. Each RCer should do what he/she can afford to enjoy the sport. I will say I am very happy with the sale and service from Pro5thscale. Both Pete and Frank are great to deal with. They don't sell anything that is not quality and I respect that. This MCD is built like a tank. I went with a Zenoah engine and Jet Pro pipe. I hope to post some pics and vids after a while. Go large scale!!

What is the weight of the FS 4wd touring car? Also what is the wheelbase, I haven't seen that mentioned in the specs.....

mikeinoz thanks mate i have been to their site all good

Any one got a comment on wheather the high octane fuel 95-98 is better to use or standard 92 oct mixed fuel on the 2 stroke engines

I have bought 5 litres 98 octane put fuel conditioner in and then mix 600ml when needed with fuchs silkolene comp 2 plus 2T oil 25:1

i figure use a good oil but not sure if the fuel 98 octane is overkill or of no benifit

any comments ?
Cheers

The toe-out sounds normal to me. When you apply the brakes the front on the tuck noise dives and this is what is causing the tires to toe-out. I wouldn’t worry about it, especially if it is only occurring when you apply the brakes.

LOL I had the same problem and I tried everything to get them out. I let them sit over night in some rust removal stuff, I tried lithium grease, I mean everything and nothing worked. I finally just drilled the center out of the couple that were stuck cleaned the threads out and then I put new ones in with a medium lock tight on it. After that I could get them off with medium effort after the lock tight set. Hope it helps!

Also the MCD bearings fit in there so i got some and put them in and kept the FS ones for backups but make sure you put a little grease on the bearings every now and them i found it helps to keep them cooler and conditions them.
