All of this discussion is great. I definitely sympathize with the tough decision of FS vs MCD. Honestly, if someone in the USA would have had stock in the FS MT, I would have bought it. They didn't. I chose to contact PRO5thscale and purchased a geniune MCD and I am glad I did. I will not bash anyone else no matter what. Each RCer should do what he/she can afford to enjoy the sport. I will say I am very happy with the sale and service from Pro5thscale. Both Pete and Frank are great to deal with. They don't sell anything that is not quality and I respect that. This MCD is built like a tank. I went with a Zenoah engine and Jet Pro pipe. I hope to post some pics and vids after a while. Go large scale!!

The toe-out sounds normal to me. When you apply the brakes the front on the tuck noise dives and this is what is causing the tires to toe-out. I wouldn’t worry about it, especially if it is only occurring when you apply the brakes.
thanks very much like i said its all new and fxxxxxx great im loving it saving up for the up grades alloy gear plait and the 4 metal gears and the alloy bearing holders 3 of.Not to sure if ill go with the fs or mcd money money money and all so thinking about the fs wheel hubs front and back and for all the front ones they tack a lot of shxt

LOL I had the same problem and I tried everything to get them out. I let them sit over night in some rust removal stuff, I tried lithium grease, I mean everything and nothing worked. I finally just drilled the center out of the couple that were stuck cleaned the threads out and then I put new ones in with a medium lock tight on it. After that I could get them off with medium effort after the lock tight set. Hope it helps!
Also the MCD bearings fit in there so i got some and put them in and kept the FS ones for backups but make sure you put a little grease on the bearings every now and them i found it helps to keep them cooler and conditions them.
hi soundmaster how are the mcd bearings holding up then because those things do get very hot indeed ive gone threw 4 2 on the inside + 2on the out side front ones im talking about and you

They do get hot even the MCD tend to but i always squirt a little lithium white grease on them before i run and it help tremendously it is about a 20 degree differance. I tested them with a temp gauge. Any metal on metal should have some lubrication on it. It is a bit more matinence on it but it saves you money in the end. I always make sure the diffs are lubed, bearings, motor gears each time before i race. If i am bashing and messing around i just lube the berings up a bit.

Also running at full speed long streaches multiple times also heats things up a lot. If you have a on-road car and are doing oval racing the more you lube the better beacuse those long full speed runs are hell on those parts. If you have a monster truck and run a lot at full speed it will do the same thing so play with some diffrent lube and greases and see what they do and how your car performes.
thanks for the tip mucker wil do that i only go bashin oh and ive just took the back end diff case apart looks good bearings in good shape and the diff case i got some silicone kit and put that between the diff case +shaissi and put more grease in their to help a little bit for the helical gear their was not much on them so i
