I have had a bit of drive on the weekend all went good and nothing broken Engine seems to be running great the more runs i do...But !!

I noticed my front wheel bearing hub on one side was hot so i thought i better see about changeing the chinese bearings

Now jeezes i cant get the square wheel drive that goes into the wheel with the two grub screws in it off .i used an impact driver i used and bent an allen key!! far out bent the crap out of it... WHATS THE SECRET are they left handed or just loctited ANY ADVICE how to get them off would be appreciated

also can any one point me in the right direction to the best place for bearings
Cheers

A soldering iron heated up.... then held it to the grub screw for 30 sec to a min will make the locktite lossen up[ ]

Yep, except I'd change that for 30mins to an hour with a soldering iron. Get yourself a gas pentorch. Indispensible tool in this hobby. Make that grub screw very hot in a matter of seconds.

thanks oh the wheels they are from make carson i bought from hobby-tech in germany real cheap i had them on my fg mt and still going good so i thought i would take the fs wheels of and put them on the fs and boy it dose the job pretty happy im now thinking of using my fg baja wheels and then with a asgard baja 1ooo body
also spoke to a friend and asked him if he could make me the fs mt wheels from alloy and that's no probs so thats also an option but make them a little smaller so i don't have to cut the chassis i will let yopu know

We seem to all be on the same page HEAT is the key the more you apply the quicker it works ..
Anyways this week i received my
polished FS exhaust pipe
zenoah coil
hitec hs5745 mg steering servo
May have time over the weekend to install hopefully
I was thinking of making a stainless servo plate say 1.5 -2 mm thick and liquid nail and screw on top of the existing servo plate thats there
to take the 2 hitec servos. at the moment i have one Hitec installed and i used the damaged gws as a dummy on the other side to take up some of the steering slack and side forces(removed the gears inside).anyways will give it bit more thought
I havent got the gear to do the awesome job that pwaicon done ...but then again still thinking

hi

when the fs pipe comes check for holes before you place it on the motor because i had 2 one half way down and the other under at the end (all the welds) what you can do is put a stop in either end air tight but at one end make sure you leave a hole just big enough so you can connect a compressor and get some washing up liquid with water and brush it over the welds and you should see if it leaks
the rest you know

by the way which one have you orderd

Is that guy reliable? His prices are pretty sharp. Does he have stuff in stock, or is it all drop ship?
