Not a flier myself but that is a nice-looking plane. Love the colors and of course the A123 decals!

I'm not a flyer either, but that a great looking plane. I'm jealous of your A123 stickers man. I still didn't get any extra stickers for my truck...

Thaks for the comments on the plane guys.

I made the A123 Racing Logo waterslide decals my self. Gives me complete freedom for sizing etc. and not limited to what comes off the shelf.

InkJet Printer Water Slide Decal material here:
http://www.beldecal.com/inkjet_decals.cfm

I have the official A123 racing Logo in pdf formate if anyone would like to have it. It is 189kb so to large to post here. You will need to use Adobe Photo Shop or other Graphics program to size and print it.

If interested PM me with your email address but please only if you are serious about making use of it.

Thats a fine looking airplane.
I noticed you are using a Scorpion motor. I got a 4025-16 at the AEF last weekend.
Have you tried that spreadsheet they have on their web site written by the Frenchman?
How accurate are its predictions?
What flight times are you getting?
Do you really need 300w/lb?

Scorpion Calc is extremely accurate. I like Scorpions a lot , i have purchased six of them ,4 for me and two for my son.

Need that much power of course not. Many fly that aircraft on a Torque motor producing 400 watts but then most of them are trying not to kill ther fragile LiPolys.

I don't need 700+ watts in my traxxas rustler either but it sure makes it a lot more fun.

Flight times around 6 minutes. timer set at 5 1/2 touch down around 6 and most flights around 1800-2000 mAh used so on a 1900 average just over 20 amps average during a flight.
