I'm looking for info on this little motor. It's new in the box and even has the original decals. There is a stamp that says "two speed" and it requires 2 needle valves. There is only one in the original packet. Any information is appreciated.
Thanks, Wes

The Holland Hornet was a jewel of a motor. I didn't have the RC[2needle variety] but had both the 049 and 051 as controlline motors. What most people today don't realize is that it was just a powerful as a TD from c*x andwas only handicapped by the redial mount for CLspeed events. Otherwise history might have been a little different.
ANIB Hornet will certainly bring over $100.00 so it is a very desireable motor. Getting needle valves and glow heads is of course a problem. RJL has the tooling for the Hornet and has made enough to satisfy SAM requirements but he has no motors available now. Still he might have heads and that elusive N.V.
Good luck on the parts.. Personally I'd save it to enjoy it

It's a wonderful motor. Do NOT run it. New in the box, it's worth quite a bundle. OVER $100.
