What is a good battery and charger set up for the rustler vxl truck.I do not want lipo.I would like to be able to charge the battery quickly and maybe 2 at a time.I am looking for batterys that give me some descent speed but the longest run times possible.I don't know much as i have only had what the hobby store has sold me, which was a standard ac/dc charger and like a 6 cell 2400 battery for my emaxx.I don't know if i could use 7 or 8 cells and like 4600 or 500o mah. Thanks! Also a good place to purchase some of your products as i have heard good things.

This link will take you to all of the packs both NimH and Li-Po that will work with your rustler. http://www.maxamps.com/products.php?cat=75 And this link will take you to a charger that will charge two 7 cell packs at the same time with a series adapter. http://www.maxamps.com/Eos6i-AC-DC.htm and the series adapter that will allow you to charge two 7 cell packs as a 14 cell pack. http://www.maxamps.com/proddetail.php?prod=Traxxas-Series-Adapter&cat=78 make sure you order your packs with the Traxxas connector and request one for the Charger leads when you order.

Yes the 9 cell will fit in it and the Hyperion EOS0606i AC/DC will charge up to 14 cells NimH.

It will charge that pack at 4.7 amps so about 80 to 90 minutes.

What your talking about doing will only ruin the packs. Not only that but you risk overheating the cells and this could cause a fire or an explosion.

Just buy two or three packs that way you run one, ones ready and the other can be charging.

with the proper power supply that can do 360 watts the 0610i DUO we have is very efficient. The 0606i will do two 7 cell packs in series as a 14 cell with no problem.

If you want the best I recommend the Hyperion Line. I can't comment on any other brands.

Nope the only AC/DC is the EOS0606i the others are all DC only.
