If you have a Woodcraft store or other woodworking store around where you live, you can grab some CA glue accelerant. Basically, You apply the CA glue (superglue) and spray the accelerant on what you just glued and it is instantly bonded. I used this on my rim that I accidentally shattered during the 1st break in run so I could finish doing the break in till my new rims came in... besides, I HATE waiting for glue to dry!

yeah, accelerator is your friend, once you use and try it, you will never look at using glue the same way!!!

Dang, I just seen that I cracked the front rim too. That sucks. I ordered front rims too. I am not going to drive the car any, I might tune it a little but that is it. I will let you guys know when I get them, and I am driving again.

I have a Volcano, and I love it. Great Truck (especially if you consider cost) but the rims DO seem a bit fragile. I got tired of replacing them and went out and got HPI rims. They have more plastic bracing and so far have held up well. Im sure many companies make rims to fit Redcat buggies. You should have a few spares,ESPECIALLY if you are running on Pavement!

The only ones I can find for mine are the chrome factory ones, and then green and yellow spoked ones.

for the Tornado BB? if it is, and you don't mind spending a bit more money.. but its worth it because of the durability.. you can get these ( aluminum! )

the only problem I have had with mine is the wheel issue. Shock towers are good, shocks are good, everything but the rims is still good on it, and I have even sent her on a couple of tumbles. Seems to be pretty rugged to me.

ok, I am gonna go by my hobby shop today and ask if they have any 12mm wheels instead of telling them the kind of car I have.
What kind of glow plugs do I need for my car?

Well, I checked my wheel that I put glue on, and it actually held together fairly well. Can't do any crazy driving on it, but I can drive it. Also got some wheels from my hobby shop, only down side is that they are a little wider, but they work. I put some more glue on the wheels before I went to bed last night, that way I know I got a good layer on it, and I am going to take my car with me today to the inlaws...they live in the country and have a HUGE yard... ...you know what that means

Well, I didn't get to do some bashing at the inlaws because my antenna broke off of the reciever. So i stopped by dads and got his soldering iron and fixed that and did some good bashing when I got home. I have noticed that my brakes don't work the greatest. The easiest way for me to stop is to turn when I try and stop, otherwise it takes a good distance. Other than that, I am all good. I actually found a small spot in the yard to jump, and I got about 4 foot of air and my glued wheel actually held together really well. I did 2 full tanks worth of driving and the wheels are still good. As far as the antenna issue, can I use some small gauge regular wiring to make the antenna longer so I have better range? Thanks
