Can you elaborate on where Multiplex is going with the 2.4 conversion of exiting EVO 12 radios? Specifically, are you looking to adapt the XPS system officially or are you working on another engineering solution/approach?

How about a timeline for an officially supported 2.4 conversion package to hit the streets?

Status: offline 		Sorry, we don't know; nor can we estimate a timeline. As far as I know there is no plan to adopt the XPS systems.

This is Multiplex Germany's stance on this subject at this time as posted on their website.

MULTIPLEX on: 2.4 GHz

"2.4 gigahertz" is a key word, since some time on everyone's lips and in all media sports presence of the model. We are asking every day and take about as follows:

A new technology?

Yes and no.

THAT was a tough read! Through all the German translation, it means:

We're working on it, but want to be sure it's right, safe and marketable.

Huh - too bad the XPS problems, because I sure like the clean retrofit...

Oh well, the Multiplex transmission scheme seems sound for now.
