I think I was 2 when my Dad said I helped him rearrange a wing set up to be glued when he temporary left the room. Soloed on my 1st ukie Goldberg Stuntman at 5 or 6. Single channel escapement, reeds, galloping ghost from 9 to 11; stuff Dad took in trade when he manufactured "modern" radios. Got my full house Royal Products 4 channel radio at 12. Gone through racing, scale, FF, helis, several radios etc throughout my 46 years. Back to flying single channel , reeds and galloping ghost again in VRCS. Who said this hobby can't go full circle?

I started flying RC when I was about 35, flew in Texas, Mississippi, Florida, California, and a few other places my memory won't recall. Got out for about ten years, got back in about a year ago. I'm 56 now, soon to be 25 again.

Dad taught me to fly RC when I was 6 or 7. He built his second plane(Kolb Firestar-Ultralight) around 91' and soloed me in it when I was 24. I still prefer to fly RC after all these years. Im 34 now.

i started flying at ten. i am 13 now, but i have gone through 3 planes and my latest one i have put over a thousand dollars into. a .60 size cap 232. things like gyros, coreless servos, HUGE pumped four stroke engine, glow drivers, pcm, and stuff like that. if you are really looking to turn heads, put that stuff in an aerobat and to those kinds of maneuvers that give you a space where nobody flies. the only way i am able to go from start to sport in 3 years is the realflight simulator. it cut my learning curve at least in half
