Just curious. Whos the you youngest pilot? I started when I was 15. Now im starting to get itno the turbine jets and what have you at the age or 21. I would probably have it by now, but we all know how expensive growing up can be, especialy if your forced to make it on your own at 18. Anyway, lets see those numbers!!

I started when I was 7 1/2 or 8.. now 29 Flew first scale rally @ 9 (Jack Stafford Commanche), and actually had my pic in "Flying Models" magazine once when I was 11 (with my Nosen Gere Sport)... It was a father-son hobby till my dad passed away in 93. Still have my trainer too although retired... a Craft-Air Scout 15

I started when I was 14 or 15. My father wasn't in the hobby, but he'd drive me to the field and watch, or just drop me off for the day. I had been doing model rockets for a few years prior to getting in to RC airplanes as well.

I started in rocket when I was about 8. Then I moved on to RC Cars and started racing them around 10. I got a plane when I was 14 or 15 right around there, crashed my first one, then eventualy got another one. After a while I just couldent afford it anymore and quit for about 3 years. I missed it to much so I managed talking my fiance into letting me get another one. Now ive got 2 ready to go and one on the way. Just can't seem to get out of the hobbie, nor will I ever want to...

Saw my first Helicopter when I was 9. was told to start with a plane first. got my first plane when I was 16. (Damn expensive little buggers) didn't fly it till I was 23 (When your 16 you don't think about "where am I going to fly it" now I'm 27 I have two helis and 5 planes and am building a B-17. I try to fly at least twice a week at woodley. (amazing how a good place to fly and a little more money lets you have alot more fun. )

Later,
Jason
