Status: offline 		I just purchased this neat little plane (I have the Sig Glow Plane) I'm not an electric guy at all but do have one other for my back yard-sig ep42 Kadet with AXI and Lipo setup. It is great for fooling around out back. This little Herr should be really fun. I need help setting it up, I know theirs lots of experiance with already. Need to know what servos, AXI motor size (AXI only please) controller, ectt.. Can anyone help me WITH experience on this plane. Thanks so much.

Status: offline 		Thanks Airflow-was looking for more current info-seems servos and motors ect.. are changing fast in the electric world and thought someone may have figured out the best setup. Thought this would be an extremely popular plane since the bigger brother is. Maybe the electric flyers have better options than this for a fun flyer. Sure is a nice plane in the larger glow version and I'm looking forward to this for some simple back yard fun.

Status: offline 		Sure thing. I have the Little Extra with that setup - the ThunderPower LiPo I use is the ExtremeV2 - a few more bucks, but reliable as gold. The AXI's have been proven to be durable performers. Keep looking and post your results here. Thanks.

Status: offline 		Any experience out their with servos other than the HT55, I'm looking at Futaba 3114 micros?? Looked at HS81 it appears the wing needs cutting and I don't know if you need this much. Will the 3114 work and does anyone have experience with these? Thanks

Status: offline 		I ended up with the Futaba's 3114, More torque and speed and seem to be better built????

Status: online 		Frenchie, I am thinking of setting up this same model as an electric so I can have something to fly in restricted spaces and perhaps to take it on the road when I'm on a trip or something. With your setup, how much space does this one need to land?

Status: offline 		Tough question, it really depends how good a piolet you are. You have to maintain some speed or power until a few feet off the ground. It will stall faster than you think it should, so i need a little more approuch area. You don't need alot of room, maybe 30-50 yards of free space.
