Hello
Im just going to tighten the bolt to the DA on the 28% Extra 300.
Should i put washers between engine and firewall to get more downthrust?

You cannot know what type of thrust angles will be needed until the plane is flown. As Krayzc noted above, you have several things to do before you finalize any thrust angles. Balance and trims work together to make number one. Once the balance is out of the way and the plane flys at near neutral trims at medium throttle settings you can start determining what thrust angles, if any, will be needed. Does the plane nose up when you cut the throttle? Then you need less down thrust, and vice versa. After the engine vertical thrust line is done you can go to work on right thrust. One thing at a time.
